Beige shades in interiors are a base that we truly are fond of using. Once this colour palette was reserved for the bedroom, which thanks to beige took on a cosy quality. However, now that we seek warmth and comfort in every room, beige can also find its way into bathrooms, living rooms, hallways and kitchens. Why do we like these colours so much? Light browns, creamy hues, light greys or the now fashionable taupe are colours that make interiors more subdued, calm and homely. When we shy away from the coldness of white, we reach for beige since it is just as safe but, for many, more pleasant on the face of it. This colour palette can easily be combined with wood or stone designs, but also with more striking accents, such as browns or brilliant golds.
