The natural beauty and warmth that earth colours convey once again warrants their place among the top interior design trends. After years of seclusion and isolation from the outside world, all of us began to seek connection with nature and its gifts. We missed it so much that we started inviting it into our interiors – not only in the form of flowers or other plants.
The rooms were filled with earthy colours – warm, toned down and soft, but also stronger ones. Greens, browns, beiges, greys, yellows and blues blended perfectly together to create stunning finishes on the walls and floors of our living spaces. We are keen to add more expressive accents to them. These include, for example, shades of rust, gold and even navy blue and dark green. What’s new this year is the detailing, reminiscent of flowers blooming in warm earthy colours. Violet, pink and burgundy-red furniture, paintings or decorative elements will work most beautifully to achieve this floral effect.
Warm earthy colours can be complemented with nature-inspired designs. Wallpaper with flowers or leaves, tiles with natural stone reproductions or woodgrain tiles are a great addition to rooms in light browns and greys. These additional motifs bring us even closer to the natural environment.
Feel the world of nature up close by arranging interiors in warm earthy colours!
