Modularity – it’s a term that has a special meaning in interior design. It allows us to find our own unique design solutions, forms of expression and adapt the space to our own needs. How to approach interior design with a modular toolkit?
Modular tiles are one of the more recent, but highly popular trends. It captivated us by allowing freedom, despite the limited formats, colours and structures of the tiles. Paying homage to this trend are three collections, created in partnership with Maja Ganszyniec of Studio Ganszyniec. The Modernism, Neve Creative and Sundown modular collections are completely different stylistically, yet share the idea of modularity. Modernism, which refers to the aesthetics of the 1920s and 1930s and to the fascinating corset pattern (a small tile with gently indented sides), makes it possible to both arrange modern interiors and restore those from the inter-war period and beyond.
The Neve Creative collection dazzles with a wealth of colours and a variety of geometric formats and decorations. What is surprising about this combination is the variety of interiors that can be furnished with them. Included here are some completely toned-down, minimalist ones, as well as those with a strong, highly expressive character. The Sundown collection is a clinker with excellent engineering qualities, but also with great creative potential. The colour scheme and structure draw on the most natural, earthy inspirations, but the geometry allows the creation of unusual surfaces – both interior and exterior.
What these collections have in common is the idea of modularity. The tiles can be combined and contrasted at will to create individual patterns that precisely suit our taste and needs. Unique compositions of colours, textures, decorations and formats open up completely new and unlimited creative possibilities.
Mix, match and create inspiring, unique interiors with modular tiles.
